Six Tables

I dined here as a surprise birthday gift from my boyfriend. I thought Six Tables was amazing. The ambiance, music, decor, and mood was different, new, and exciting! The simple fact that there was only 6 tables made me feel extra special. It was a clever, sweet touch. The restaurant has a very intimate environment. And the heavenly smells of food from the kitchen...made me want more. :P

I have severe food allergies. Chef Richard made me feel comfortable that the food was going to be handled with care. Thank you again! :)

Delicious wines, fresh succulent duck, rich desserts, diverse cheeses, and soup/bisque you wish you could swim in because it is THAT GOOD. I was impressed, course after course. And you will be too!!!

The good: Unique dining experience with outstanding service and well-prepared dishes.
The bad: Décor is simple - nothing special...honestly, you'd expect something more elegant/sophisticated when you're paying this kind of price for dining.
The ugly: The price is astronomical for what you get. The chef/host was delightful and talented but it just wasn't worth the money spent. I believe we shared two bottles of wine between the four of us and the total final bill was $528 (with tip).

My fiancee and I went to celebrate two years together and had an outstanding meal. We have eaten at fabulous restaurants around the world, but Six tables in Tampa is as good as any, but with better service. It is a must try in tampa.
