Easy, as advertised, in and out. It deserves a mention because usually people with good experiences don’t write reviews, and reviews here skew lower than I think it deserves. I will use this company everywhere it’s located and hope it was as good as it was in Tampa.

The price offer online is different from the prices changed at the pick up location. They would not tell you unless you check your receipt. The different is huge, almost double. When I confronted the person on the counter with a copy of my booking, he got upset and quickly rip off the receipt and asked me to leave now. It was midnight. So check you receipt when you book online with payless car rental that serve Tampa airport location.

Worse rental place I ever rented from! Expect a wait of at least 30 minutes in the Florida heat to even get to the facility. The car I received was very dirty and smelled like smoke inside. I got charged an upgrade when I didn't ask for one. Keep in mind there is a $6.00 day charge for just walking in the facility. My advice, rent from a more trusted and accommodating car rental service like Enterprise or Hertz, they may be a little expensive, but they truly care about their customer's happiness; unlike Payless Rental.

We rent a car, they give us another type of car, We asked them twice if they will charge more for it and they confirmed that will have no more charges, we was suppose to pay for the price of the car we rented, the car they give us was better, but as long we were driving we fig it out that the lights inside the car didn't turn off. So we return the car in a Right date, when we get home 3 hours later we saw they had charge us double of the price the cost of the car we had rented. We call them right away and they said we had Upgraded ours car for a better one, but as I said we did not ask for that. It was ridiculous They said that we need to claim it and fint to have the money back even if the problem was created by them.

Terrible Terrible Terrible!!! I would not recommend this place! Read the reviews they speak for themselves! I wish I would have read them first! I'll spare you the details of my experience it's way too long to post! They only thing I can say is at least Mandy was helpful the rest of this company is garbage ... Con artists liars and thives.... I'll never use Payless anywhere again and I travel often!
