Solid steakhouse from top to bottom. Steaks cooked perfectly, waitstaff on point, and true pros. Great wine list, ranging from common and approachable, to dream once in a lifetime types of bottles. Definitely not a chain type of place, and it shows in the minor details. I'd recommend this place to anyone who appreciates fine dining.

We love Kinzie's! Came in tonight for our 3 year Anniversary with our 5 month old. We didn't have reservations & they were able to seat us! Great food & amazing service! Definitely a must go to restaurant in Chicago!

My dear husband and I had made reservations at a new place in River North to celebrate our anniversary last night. It was simply "not happening." Very few customers, poorly lit, just not feeling it. I called our traditional place immediately - Kinzie Chophouse - to see if they could take us and BAM - we were in! And I could kick myself for not just booking there to start with. The service last night-- as always -- was outstanding. Our server was Jim - so attentive, helpful and hilarious! My husband and I laughed out loud a lot with all of the back and forth jokes flying - not sure if our neighbors were having as much fun . . . but they treated us like royalty! Food was incredible - beef medallions/shrimp special for me; meatloaf with mashed potatoes for him. Lots of extras to help us celebrate our anniversary, and the check was reasonable even with a few drinks. We love this place. Will be booking here first from now on! :-)

Kinzie is truly our favorite steakhouse in Chicago. No matter how many times we try another, we always come back here and no it is the absolute best. The wine list is absolutely second to none, the service is incredible (ask for Rob!) and they are truly our home base steakhouse!

We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday and had a great time at Kinzie Chophouse! The food was delicious, the private room was nicely set-up and the serving staff was very attentive. Carolyn, the banquet manager I worked with, made planning the party simple via a few emails and worked with specifics we would like from the menu. Overall, a great experience!
