Always a good atmosphere, good beer and pleasant staff. Sky sports on large tv's too. Always worth a visit in Liverpool.

Great choice of beer both cask and craft but what really makes this place is the landlord (Dom?) who went out of his way to make my son and I feel welcome when we were having a night out on this fantastic city before an Open Day at Liverpool Uni! Even drawing up a list of nearby bars to visit and which restaurant to dine at in Chinatown! Fingers crossed my son will end up going to Uni here and no doubt will become a regular patron of the Fly in the Loaf!

Great spacious bar. Lots of seating on different levels on ground floor. Trendy bar. Good range of lagers, craft lagers/beers and top shelf spirits.

Great real ale venue
What can you say about the place, great service, tremendous beers and a landlord who other pubs would do well to emulate.
Big picture windows at front of bar make it ideal for people watching.
Don't be put off by the bar being busy, the landlord personally greets everyone on arrival and ensures no customer left waiting thirsty.

Go you won't be disappointed

This has been one of my absolutely favourite pubs for many years... it is great. Excellent beer choice, fabulous venue and building, staff who really know their stuff, good food, and I saw what looked to be some wonderul looking gin based drinks too. This place just makes me want to keep coming back again and again... so I do! Highly recommended.
