We found that the Akol was in a great location but the accommodations were only slightly above average. The breakfast and dinner left us wishing we'd ventured out and found something different. The Trojan Horse prop that Hollywood constructed for the movie Troy with Brad Pitt was just feet from the door of the hotel which was pretty cool. Compared to the States, it was not a great hotel but compared to some of the other hotels we've stayed in Turkey, it was fairly nice.
