Really nice hotel, with great standards and newly renovated rooms. The best location in göteborg, just by the main shopping street.

I think I'd like to give 3.5 stars, but since I've stayed in worse hotels for this price in Gothenburg, I round it up. The reception, service and breakfast were all great. Perhaps the best Scandic breakfast I've had. The room was quite worn, sort of looked like it had been freshened up 5 years ago and now it needed another dose of TLC. Curtains did not properly darken the room and on the street side of the building there can be some loud Swedish people returning from bars, which you can hear into the room. On the positive side, the location is perfect if you are a loud person who likes sports bars. The bathroom of the hotel room was small and very worn, tiles had cracked and fallen off the wall. Even though the condition of the room was worn, everything was as tidy and clean as one could hope for.

Breakfast is very good. However the room is very cold and duvet is tinny. I stay in a single room , but still the duvet is not very big. Hopefully tonight they can change it for me with a bigger one.

Good location in the centre of Gothenburg. Room was clean, but bathroom was a bit tired. Good breakfast choice, standard for Scandic.

Nice and clean room. Good location. Fresh food and huge selection for breakfast. Only downside is the parking in the parking garage in a separate building. Kind of run down and wouldn't want to leave a more exclusive car there for a longer amount of time. Nor would I leave anything valuable visible.
