The food was good and the servers were accomidating. It was quite busy when we went, although it was both a race night at the track, and a game night for the All Blacks. Nice overall.

The Alex Bar & Eatery has always been my families 'go to' place for at least the last 10 years. I'm sorry to say its been declining over the last 3 years - from a quality perspective. I have many photos of mine and my families dinners and lunches there. After today, I don't think I'll go back there for food - although I will admit that todays Orzo Salad was ok. Aside from too much onion - I enjoyed it. Sad really - its an iconic place where people can go and enjoy a punt, go to the night trots (a fabulous evening out) have a meal, socialise with friends and family and even chuck $20 in the gaming room. Step up Alex Bar & Eatery!
