My girlfriend and I took this tour two days ago and really enjoyed it. The boat was very nice with plenty of space. It was also higher up than all the other boats we say, which was nice. The view from the upper deck was great. Someone complained in a review that the info was prerecorded. It didn't bother us at all (imagine saying the same stuff over and over every day!). The information was interesting and clearly-spoken. We ordered an iced drink and ice cream, which were overpriced but absolutely delicious. We got a reduced price for the tour with the Berlin Welcome Card, which was great. Overall we really enjoyed it and would recommend this tour to anyone! (Anyone who speaks German or English, that is, because those are the languages of the info. Actually it would still be enjoyable just to see the city in such a relaxed atmosphere that it might be worth it anyway if you don's speak those languages.)

We opted for the 4 hour cruise. The boat itself was nice, and the information was presented in German first then English. It was not too detailed but adequate enough. Cruise was a nice length. The thing that ruined the whole trip however was the attitude of one of the waitresses. She had not served us before and came over and said 2 beers, which is what we had ordered, and I assume she was asking for payment. I said oh yes, and proceeded to get out my purse when she started talking to the passengers behind us in German about us. She mimicked what I had said and was laughing. It's frankly disgusting that your staff would act like this. It was very blatant she was having a joke at our expense with the other passengers because she assumed we couldn't speak German. So we were left feeling embarrassed and belittled. Awful customer service.

Pretty boring cruise. Not much info and the English translation would come after the building had already passed usually. The info is all prerecorded as well, not moderated live. There are a lot in the area so I'm sure you can find a better one.

My friend and I did a one hour boat tour from Friederichstrasse. Most of the companies doing boat tours offers eather a one hour tour or a 3-3,5 hour tour. It would have been goo to have something in between as one hour gets a little too short and 3 hours gets way to long. But it is good to do this at a time of the day when you need a break and something to drink. After a few other sights it is perfect to sit on a boat, relax and have something to drink.
