Belém hostel is a nice place to be with friends, it's a friendly house and it has a great schedule to do in the city everyday. The hostel is in downtown, near of everything, including a beautiful Square, there's two malls next to the hostel, and the people that work there are so nice!!

Don't go here, the brothers who own it were very rude. . I arrived after long journey and was not welcomed only to find that they were rude not at all allowing me to rest I wanted to leave my bag there as you could do in many hostels and I would pay the bag fee no problem. I was only waiting a few hours and they wouldn't let me stay in the hostel to rest for a few hours or I would have had to pay. . There is a much better hostel right near them called hotel Amazonia which was very helpful and friendly.
