Frankfurt Central Hostel

Affordable Hostel in Frankfurt: This hostel is family owned and run but does have guidelines. Please read all guidelines before booking your stay. They have 2 open areas, one with TV and for dining and one with a great view (hostel is on the 5th floor) for conversations or computer work. We booked a shared room in a quad room and had a nice stay. Room was clean and quiet, nicely vented with air from outside. Bathroom was clean (women's) and close to our room. Beds were comfortable, sheets fresh. We did not eat or have coffee in dining area, but when we brought in our own food they were very gracious to provide us with utensils, plates and glasses for each meal. I would stay here again.

Very bad place to stay! If you think that you will save some money - it's not like that because you will spend more money that you were awaiting!!!!
After conversation with Mr. Iman I understood that it's the worse place in Europe!
The conditions are not flexible (more to it - VERY STRANGE!!!!) or maybe Mr. Iman wanted to receive more money from us !!!!!!!
Mr. Iman always made new rules for making new charges and never let us know! Something like - deposits, charges for late arrival, WI-FI, dry-hair for 1 EUR, etc.
We made a payment for all our colleagues and came 1 day later because of problems with traffic (but we payed for all period of time). When we came to hostel 1 day later (we told that we are going to come 1 day later) he told that according to rules of hostel - he has to throw us away and it doesn't matter that we made a payment for more than 1 week!!!! And he told to me as a sample that 1 man spent 500 EUR for hostel and came 1 day later - he didn't give money back and didn't let him to live in number for which he made a payment and the same is waiting for me and my colleagues!!!!!!

Don’t stay here. I was uncomfortable the entire time and my female friend did not feel safe. Stay somewhere else. The kebab place next door is good though.

The guy was just confusing, unhelpful, and RACIST! While check-in, he kept making fun of my name and I told him that's not how my name is read and he just wouldn't quit.. This place is horrible because of such blatant ignorance and disrespect. He spoke in a condescending way. And I didn't know his jokes were more humiliating or embarrassing. AWFUL!

Had a booking for a few days but missed the check-in due to delays in buses. Was charged for that whole booking and then they wanted to charge me again when I went back the next day. I stayed elsewhere.
